Joyce Joan King

Joyce Joan King, 90, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.

She was born on August 22, 1931, in Union City, Ohio, to the late Page and Clara (Gephart) Burrell.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, James David King; her daughter, Pamela King Holly; her 4 brothers; and 1 sister.

Joyce was the heart of her family. She was caring, loving, and devoted. She always gave all she could. She was a bookkeeper, retiring from Plumbsmith after many years of service. She was very active member at EUM Church for several years. Joyce loved playing bingo, tending to her flower gardens, and preparing meals for anyone who would eat them. The amazing memories, love and all the things she taught her family will stay locked in their hearts and passed on for years to come.

Joyce is survived by her children, Greg King of Northport, Michigan, Jamie (Dennis) Hunt of Greenville, and Teresa (James) Goines of St. Henry, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jessica (Maynard) Soukup, Ben King, Meagan Abny, J.D. King, Kasi (Robert) Gregson, Allison Sloan, Aaron (Becca Early) McEldowney, and Erica McEldowney; her great grandchildren, Karli (Jacob) Schepis, Elliana Sloan, Collin Sloan, Paige Sloan, Cameron McEldowney, Claire O'Dell, and Charlie Soukup; her great-great grandchildren, Bennett Schepis, Esme Sloan, and Maddie Early McEldowney; and close friend, Christy Fisher.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
