Judy Stewart

Judy Ann Stewart, 70, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.

She was born on February 23, 1949, in Portland, Indiana to the late Otto and Lela Ashley.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Karen Cox and Diane Griffin.

Judy was a hard-working woman. Her family describes her as a "spit fire" and no one ever messed with Judy. She spent several years working for Rite-Aid in Greenville and H&R Block. Judy enjoyed spending time outdoors and visiting the many nature preserves in the county. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Walter "Walt" Stewart, whom she married on August 22, 2015; her children, Stephanie Yanchunas Gross of Gordon, Ohio, Heather Murray of Miamisburg, Ohio, Anna Price of Ansonia, Ohio, and Robby Curtis of Ansonia, Ohio; her adopted children, Colton, Michael, and Jena Coby; and her many grandchildren.

A celebration of Judy's life will take place at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Pastor Steve Short officiating.

The family has entrusted Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with the final arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help offset final expenses.
