Katherine E. Roosa

Katherine E. Roosa, 99, formerly of Clayton, passed away Friday morning, March 5, 2010 at Englewood Manor in Englewood, OH. She was born in Greenville, daughter of the late Homer and Faye Blanche (Hill) McNutt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Roosa; a grandson, Roger Ross; brothers, Richard, Tim, Robert, Billy, Emerson "Bud", and Richard McNutt; and sisters, Mary Tegmeyer and Betty Sherry. Katherine is survived by her children, Betty Jeffery of Dayton, Janet Yoder of Covington, GA, Joyce (Bill) Cascaden of Bradford and Steven (Augusta) Roosa of Jekyll Island, GA; grandchildren, Linda (Mike) Kuntz, Deborah (Doyle) Barnett, Connie (Ken) Niederbrack, Bradley Miller, Blaine Yoder, Kim (Rene') Yoder, Michael Roosa, Roger (Rhonda) Ross; step grandchildren, Darrin (Gay) Cascaden and Julie (Johnny Eggleston) Cascaden; 14 great grandchildren; and sevengreat great grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday March 9 at 2 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 p.m. till time of services at 2 p.m. The family requests memorial contributions be given to Crossroads Hospice, 8087 Washington Village Dr. Suite 120, Dayton, OH 45458.
