Kenneth Pease, 68, of New Madison, passed away on February 11, 2018 at his home.
Kenny was born on February 2, 1950 in New Paris, Ohio, the son of the late Roland and Helen Lucille (Swihart) Pease.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents.
From 1983-1986, Kenny had been the Chief of Police for the Village of New Madison and was a self employed carpenter. He loved all of his grandchildren and his beloved dog, Joplin. However, he thoroughly looked forward to family gatherings and all the delicious food there was to eat.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon (Long) Pease, whom he married January 2, 1982; his children, Jeff (Michele) Frech of New Paris, Joseph (Erinn) Frech of New Madison, Stacey (Tim) Smith of New Madison, Matthew (Kelly) Pease of Eaton, Kevin (Samantha Jesse) Pease of New Madison, and Amanda (Shane Hicks) Pease of New Madison; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his brothers and sister-in-law, Melvin (Donna) Pease of Florida, Gary Pease of New Madison, and Joe Pease of Dayton, Ohio; his sisters and brother-in-law, Linda (Randy) Blough of Eaton, and Rhonda Fritz of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
