Kristina Kay Gerace

Kristina Kay (Cox) Gerace, 45, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in Dayton.

She was born on September 15, 1973 in Greenville to the late John and Karen (Ashley) Cox.

In addition to her parents, Kristina was preceded in death by her brother, John Cox.

Kristina had a caring heart and enjoyed helping others. She spent many years working as a nurse aid at several local nursing homes and most recently worked with the elderly at the county home. Kristina put others first. She had a contagious smile and a strong sense of humor. Her love and kind heart will be missed by many.

She is survived by her children, Ashley Mayo of Rossburg, Ohio; Marcus Mayo of Greenville, Tyler Mayo of Greenville, and Brandon Gerace of Dayton; her grandchildren, Jaden Dakin and Leevi Hartzell, both of Rossburg, and Rylee Mayo of Greenville; her special friend, Joseph Gerace; and her best friend, Tammy Huwer.

A celebration of Kristina's life will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson, Ohio.

Family and friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
