L. Fern Miller

L. Fern Miller, 84, of Greenville and formerly of Union City, IN, passed away early Monday morning, May 17, 2010 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born December 11, 1925 in Mercer County, daughter of the late William and Ethel (Brock) Miller .  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Miller, sisters, Olive B. Painter  and Wavelene Miller. Fern was retired from C.W. Rice & Sons in Union City, IN were she had worked for 54 years.   She was a member of the EUM Church in Union City. She is survived by brother, Lowell (Janis) Miller; sister-in-law, Dixie Miller; and numerous nieces,nephews, and cousins. Services will be held a 11 a.m. Friday, May 21 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Roberta Hart officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m.  The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
