Lance David Baker, 34, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in Tempe Arizona.
He was born on November 22, 1986, in Dayton, Ohio, to Stephen and Jamie (Willis) Baker.
David has always been a gifted and creative artist. From a young age he was able to draw. He loved building amazing creations with his Lego blocks. This talent continued as he got older, and he was an artist to the core. He lived a life of adventure and struggle. He loved to travel the country and experience all of God's creation. David had a vast knowledge of various rocks and gemstones, and loved acquiring them to use for what became his favorite art medium. He crafted and sold wire-wrapped jewelry and loved traveling the country with his dog and travel companion, Knightshade. David loved his Lord, but as with us all, was flawed. He struggled with the weight of life, but never failed in his faith in Jesus.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his wife, Brianna May; his children, Zephaniah and Shoshanna; his brothers, Adam (Emilie) Baker of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Peter (Rebekah) Baker of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his sisters, Ileasha Baker of Arcanum, Ohio and Natasha Baker of Troy, Ohio; his nephew and nieces, Enoch, Jubilee, and Skye; his maternal grandfather, Jim and Janie Willis of Greenville, Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Sandy and Richard Macy, of Arcanum; his paternal grandparents, Darrell and Anna Mae Baker of Greenville; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of David's life will be held at 5 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at First Assembly of God, 7219 State Route 118, Greenville, Ohio, with Jon Jenkins officiating.
