Lawrence "Junior" Brosher, 78, of Ansonia, passed away Tuesday evening, January 22 at his residence. He was born in Rossburg, OH, son of the late Lawrence Sheridan and Virgie (Stump) Brosher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Brosher and Peggy Padgett and a brother, Joseph Brosher. Junior was a veteran of the US Army having served in Korea. He was retired from Ft. Recovery Industries. He had owned and operated Brosher's Used Cars and helped his wife with Brosher's Upholstery. He had served as the Pastor at the Pentecostal Assembly Church in Union City and the Mountain Assembly Church of God in Greenville. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Evelyn L. (Journey) Brosher whom he married June of 1953; a son, Rick and wife Trish Brosher of Celina; grandson, Chad and wife Amanda Brosher; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Alexis Brosher; brothers, Bob Brosher of Florida, Ivan Brosher of Texas and Bill Brosher of Celina; a sister, Kay Smith of Union City, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, January 26 at 1 p.m. at the First Assembly of God, 7219 St. Rt. 118, Greenville, OH with the Revs. Rick Brosher and Dale Boeger co-officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery near Ansonia. Friends may call at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville Friday from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice.
