Lessel Joyce Ward

Lessel Joyce (Tuthill) Ward, 97, of Greenville, passed away on July 7, 2015 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville. Lessel was born on June 20, 1918 in Preble County, Ohio to the late William and Laura (Price) Tuthill.

Lessel worked as a hair stylist and Beautician at the Brethrens Retirement Community in Greenville. She was a graduate of Jackson High School in Preble County and had a college degree in Cosmetology.

Lessel is survived by her husband of 73 years, Harry L. Ward of Greenville, two daughters, Nina French of Greenville, Ohio and Marty and the late Terry Dale of Sidney, Ohio; grandchildren, Jamey and Cheyenna French of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ashley Dale of Charlotte, NC; great grandchild, Cameran Dale of Charlotte, NC..

A celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Eric Fee officiating. Donation may be made to State of the Heart Hospice. Donation accepted at the funeral home.
