Lola May Stovall

Lola May (Heavel) Stovall, 85, of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away early Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton.

She was born March 11, 1930 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie (Martin) Heavel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin R. Davis, Robert Wesco and Harold Stovall; 1 infant child, Marvin R. Davis, Jr.; and 1 sister.

Lola was a loving mother, caring grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed attending church service, spending time with her family and scouring the local garage sales for treasures.

She is survived by four children, John L. Davis of Fort Collins, CO, Jeff (Jeannie) Davis of Gastonia, NC, Joy (Steve) Urschel and Eunice (David) Marlowe, both of New Carlisle, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Stefanie Pike, Kristen Long, Sarah Marlowe, Zachary Marlowe, Jennifer Adams, Jeff Davis, Matthew Davis and Michael Davis; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and numerous nieces nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 1pm, Monday, June 22, 2015 at Medway Baptist Church located at 11027 Gerlaugh Rd., Meday, Ohio, with Rev. Melvin Vansickle officiating. Burial will follow in the New Carlisle Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 11am until the time of the service.
