Louise Harbison

Louise Harbison, 90, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

She was born on September 24, 1929, in Union City, Ohio, to the late Levi and Zelma (Early) Minnich.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Harbison, who passed away December 28, 2018; her brothers, Roger, Russ, and Jay Minnich.

Louise loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a faithful follower of Christ and attended the Greenville East Main Church of Christ. She was known for her love of playing the piano and organ at church. She would play for Sunday services, weddings, funerals, and for anyone who wanted to sing. She and her husband, Roger, enjoyed riding their BMW motorcycle all over the United States. They have traveled to almost every state in the lower 48 and placed over 102,000 miles on their bike. She was a member of the Eastern Star Fort Black Chapter #336. She began to work for Greenville National Bank in 1973 and continued until she retired.

Louise is survived by her sons, Leon Harbison and his wife, Barbara, of Pasadena, Texas, Tony Harbison of Lucasville, Ohio, and Allen Harbison of Stow, Ohio; her grandchildren, Corey Harbison and his wife, Carly, of Miamisburg, Ohio, Wyatt Harbison of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Cherri Pence Ellis of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Milo Harbison; and her sister, Mary Colwell of Dayton, Ohio.

A celebration of Louise's life will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2019, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Jim Morehouse officiating. Burial will follow at Brock Cemetery.

Friends may visit with her family on Sunday, November 17, 2019, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. A Masonic Eastern Star memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Louise to the Cancer Association of Darke County, P.O. Box 781, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
