Lova Jean Wise

Mrs. Lova Jean (Ray) Wise. 84, of New Madison, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2013 at Englewood Manor in Englewood, Ohio. Lova Jean was born in Darke County, Ohio on March 15, 1929 to the late Everett and Leota (Burkett) Ray. Lova Jean worked at Bonfiglios in New Madison for 20 years. She enjoyed dancing especially at the American Legion dances and spending time with her family. She was an avid and competitive euchre player, and a great cook. In addition to her parents, Lova Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wise who passed away in November, 2001 and 7 brothers and sisters. Lova Jean is survived by a son, Mike and Mary Wise of Franklin, Ohio; two daughters, Starrann Wise of Carterville, Georgia and Sharyn and Gary Bambauer of Dayton Ohio; grandchildren, Brian Bambauer of Charlotte, North Carolina, Lysa and Dan Click of Northville, Michigan, Chris Riegle of Jacksonville, Florida, Stacy Alfano of Dayton, Ohio, Jennifer and Brad Ditto of New Paris, Ohio and Jason and Carol Wise of Florence, Kentucky; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Braund Pope Funeral Home in New Madison. A celebration of Lova Jean's life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11 am also at the funeral home with Rev. Eric Fee officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
