Luella Marie Spain, 88, of Greenville, passed away on March 6, 2018 at State of the Heart Care Center in
Greenville.
She was born September 19, 1929 in Pikeville, Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie (Root) Gibson.
In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her first husband, James Yoder; her second husband, Roy Spain; her grandson, Jeff Parks, her son-in-law, Dane Resler; her brother, Forest Gibson; and her sister Viola Beaver.
Luella is survived by her daughters, Judith Resler of Goshen, Indiana, Joyce Harter and friend Doug Hoff of Union City, Indiana, and Tina Rash and friend Tony Jenkins of Union City, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Weaver of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Luella was a member of the First Christian Church in Union City. She enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo, reading and playing cards.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Harold Libert officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
