Margaret K. "Kate" Stump-Sargent, 90, of Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, February 2, at Wayne Hospital in Greenville. She was born in Darke County, daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel (Trissel) Heiser. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Stump; her second husband, John Sargent; a daughter, Shirley Stump; two brothers, Lawrence and Russell Heiser; and two sisters, Emmeline Holdeman and Martha Boise. Kate was retired from Fram in Greenville where she had worked for 21 years. She then retired from the Darke County Home where she had worked for 5 years as a cook. She was a life member of the Greenville Eagles Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, JoAnn Russell of Greenville, Elven Stump of Celina, Karen Yearsley of Greenville and Larry Stump of Anna; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Robert Heiser and a sister, Alice Niswonger of Pompano Beach, FL. Services will be held Wednesday, February 6 at 2 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery near Union City. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Alzhiemer's's Association.
