Mark Spencer

Mark A. Spencer, 61, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

He was born on July 26, 1960, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Milton and Phyllis (Ahlering) Spencer.

Mark enjoyed the simple things in life. Whether it was spending time outdoors fishing and mushroom hunting or playing with his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Mark lived life to the fullest. When he was not outdoors, Mark could be found building and collecting model cars. Mark worked for Ernie Green Industries in New Madison.

Mark is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa (Gebhart) Spencer, whom he married on July 16, 1983; his children, Michael (Felicia) Spencer of Greenville, and Thomas Spencer of Arcanum; his granddaughter, Skylar Spencer; his siblings, Jerry (Barb) Spencer of St. Mary's, Ohio, Chuck (Audrey) Spencer of Arcanum, and Carol (Rich) Carstensen of Sidney, Ohio.

A celebration of Mark's life will take place at 12 noon on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery.

Guests may visit with Mark's family on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
