Mary K. (Diehl)

Mary K. (Diehl) Rohrer, 81 of Greenville and formerly of Richmond, IN passed away at 2:33 p.m. Sunday afternoon, August 26 at Wayne Hospital. She was born February 24, 1926 in Dayton, OH daughter of the late Russell R. and Evangeline E. (Kiusey) Diehl. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Dale L. Diehl and a granddaughter, Cassandra Rohrer. Mary had worked as a teacher and an office manager. She was a member of the Greenville Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her husband, Dean C. Rohrer whom she married July 20, 1947 in Brookville, OH; 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas D. and Karen Rohrer of Bowling Green, KY, Stephen and Sue Rohrer of Pittsburg, PA, Timothy L. and Kathy of West Plains, MO and Philip A. and Jeanie Rohrer of Mountain View, MO; grandchildren, Jonathan Rohrer, Cyndi Loney, Joseph Rohrer, Chad Rohrer, Doyle Rohrer, Caitlyn Rohrer and Joni Rohrer; a great grandson, Jacob Rohrer; and 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, David L. and Margaret Diehl of Brookville and Paul R. and Bertie Diehl of Brookville. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Greenville Church of the Brethren with the Chaplain Bob Bitner officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Bear Creek Cemetery near Trotwood. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. till 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville and Wednesday from 9 a.m. till 10 a.m. at the Church. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Heifer Project through the Greenville Church of the Brethren.
