Mary M. Hamilton

Mary M. Hamilton, 95, of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, April 26, 2012 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.  She was born May 17, 1916 in Miami County, daughter of the late Josiah and Minnie Belle (Waitman) Eikenberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George "Ray" Hamilton on May 28, 1984; 7 brothers and 3 sisters. A homemaker, Mary had attended the Lighthouse Christian Center in Greenville.  She is survived by her children, Robert (Treva) Hamilton of Versailles, Jim (Thelma) Hamilton of Greenville, and Joan (Roger) Weaver of Greenville; grandchildren, Mark (Tammy) Hamilton, Michael (Karen) Hamilton, Melissa (Andrew) Market, Teresa Fellers, Ted (Tina)  Weaver, Kay Goubeaux, and Rodney (Melissa) Weaver; great grandchildren, Collin, Noah, Stephanie, Daniel, Benjamin, Thomas, Timothy, T.J., Cameron, Raliegh, Cadence, Gabriel, Corie and Isabella; great great grandchildren, Caleb and Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 1 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor's Eric Knight and Steve Short co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
