Mattie R. Lineberry

Mattie R. Lineberry, 71, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio.

She was born on January 4, 1952 in Fairborn, Ohio, to the late Revel and Emma (Brewer) Walters.

In addition to her parents, Mattie was preceded in death by her son, William McVey; her great grandson, Landon; and her siblings, Ina Marie, Paul, Ella, Sytha, Charles, and Alice "Fay".

Mattie had an adventurous spirit, traveling and living throughout the country. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping, and loved listening to live music and dancing. Later in her life, she enjoyed playing games on Facebook, as well as watching old westerns, WWE wrestling, and Naked and Afraid. She touched many lives and has left behind countless memories. She will always be loved and missed.

Mattie is survived by her children, Jeanette (Marty) Jennings-Beers of Huber Heights, Ohio, Billy (Jen) McVey of Eustis, Florida, Tim (Nicole) McVey of Eaton, Ohio, Paul (Barb) McVey of Arcanum, and Gary (Karly) McVey of Greenville; her grandchildren, Chris, Brad, Ashley, Dalton, Austin, Brandon, Daytona, Walker, Danielle, Emma, Wynter, Jaime, Payton, and Kasha; her 8 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Mattie's life will be held at the convenience of her family.
