Michael Allan Hays

Michael Allan Hays, 44, of New Madison, passed away on September 3, 2013 in New Madison. Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 15, 1969 to Carl and Maxine (Coon) Hays of Hollansburg, Ohio Michael loved animals, especially his four cats. Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Minnie Coon and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Bertha Hays. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by a son, Steven Hays of Winchester, Indiana; a daughter, Ashley Hays of Lafayette, Indiana; a granddaughter, Hadley; two sisters and brother in law, Carla and Daniel Mintkenbaugh of Florence, Kentucky and Catherine Hays of Hollansburg; three nieces, Shelby and Brooke Mintkenbaugh, and Hannah Hays. A graveside celebration of Michael's life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 3:30 PM at the Hollansburg Cemetery with Rev. Eric Fee officiating. Michael's family will receive friends on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 1:30-3:00 at Braund Pope Funeral Home in New Madison.
