Miriam Ann Wendel

Miriam Ann Wendel, age 86 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at her home.

She was born on September 4, 1938 in Versailles to the late Carl and Anna Mae Ashman. In addition to her parents, Miriam is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Wendel.

Those left to cherish Miriam's memory include her daughter, Tamara and Steve Shrock and granddaughter, Maggi Shrock.

Miriam graduated from Versailles High School in 1956. She was raised on the family farm and continued farming as a career as she became an adult. Miriam also retired from Huffy Corporation. She was a member of the Dawn Community Church. Miriam loved horses, she enjoyed showing shetland ponies with her father growing up. She also traveled with her daughter, son in law, and granddaughter showing hackney ponies and miniature horse. Miriam had a great love for dogs, owning many throughout her life. More than anything, Miriam enjoyed spending her time with her granddaughter Maggi.
