Monte E Oler

Monte E. Oler, 67, of New Madison, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his residence. Monte was born on September 17, 1949 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Lowell Oler and Nola (Stump) Oler of New Madison.

Monte, his brother Jerry, along with their father, owned and operated Oler Construction. He was a member of the New Madison United Methodist Church, a past member of the New Madison Fourth of July Committee and was involved in the New Madison Jaycees.

Monte is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Linda Oler of New Madison; his nephew, Chad and Rhonda Oler of New Madison; his niece, Natalie and Chris Long of Delaware, OH; great nephews, Will, Nick, and Joe Long; great niece, Catherine Long.

A private Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at a later date at Greenmound Cemetery.

Family request memorial contributions be given to New Madison United Methodist Church.
