Nancy Jane Oler

Nancy J. Oler, 65, of Preble County, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

She was born on September 06, 1956, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to the late Robert V. and Dorothy A. (Miller) Davidson.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" Oler; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

From very early in life, Nancy did what she loved. She was fond of farming, making hay, working with animals and being around people. She absolutely loved the western states and traveled when she could. She was an avid sports fanatic and University of Kentucky super-fan "Go Wildcats!". She had many friends related to her interest in farming and considered working at the Producer's Stockyards in Eaton as on of her best jobs.

Nancy is survived by her children, Angie Versman, Curtis Hoel, and Robert Hoel; her grandchildren, Jewel, JP, Carson, Cody, Rhett, Reagen, and Rylie; her sisters, Helen (John) Merillat, and Mary Dierksheide; and numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of close friends and acquaintances.

There will be no services held for Nancy. It was her wish that her friends remember her as she lived. It was her hope that people be kind to one another, whether it be sending a card for no reason or making a short phone call just to hear a friend's voice.
