Patricia L. Cox

Patricia L. Cox, 93, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on October 9, 2024.

She was born on July 7, 1931, in Greenville, Ohio to the late Glen and Grace (Hittle) Riegle.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, R. Gene Cox, a son Douglas A. Cox, brother and sister-in-law William "Bill" E. and Betty Riegle and brother George D. Riegle.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Philip G. and Lois Cox, grandson Brandon P. Cox and spouse Sara, grandson Kevin C. Cox and spouse Chelsea, and two great grand­ children, Clark and Ryan (all of Tipp City, OH).

Patricia met her husband, Gene, in grade school and they enjoyed a long marriage and happy life together. They loved taking their two grandchildren on frequent trips to Gatlinburg, TN, taking cruises, and being part of many family gatherings. She truly loved and enjoyed her family and will be missed.

Patricia volunteered at Meals on Wheels, the Greenville Brethren Home and was a member of Chapter 429 of the Arcanum Eastern Star. She loved card games especially Euchre and 500 Rummy and tried to never miss a good game of Bingo. She loved her pets and never hesitated to spoil them. She enjoyed a glass of wine or two with family and friends. She believed in toasting life, making new friends and participating in the activities at the Liberty Commons independent living community in Tipp City, OH.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Guests may visit the family on Monday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Red Cross.
