Patricia Ann Epperly, age 82 of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Greenville.
She was born to the late Ralph and Marjorie (Bohman) Mayo on December 16, 1940.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by two of her brothers and their spouses, Ralph and Betty Mayo and Richard and Sharon Mayo and two brothers-in-law, Bill Haas and Charles Anthony.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Epperly, whom she married on June 23, 1962; children, Mike (Ann) Epperly of Piqua, Melissa (Bryan) Roessner of Greenville, and Kim (Tony) Voisin of Lake, MI; grandchildren, Ryan Epperly, Lindsey (Scott) Trivisonno, Austin Epperly, Cassandra (Ben) Riggs, Corey (Erin) Roessner, Carrie Roessner, Rob (Grace) Voisin, Casey Voisin, and Maggie Voisin; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Smith, Liam Riggs, Oakley Roessner, Kenny Trivisonno; step-great-grandchildren, Caleb Riggs and Carly Riggs; Patricia is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Rita Mayo and sister Sharon Haas, brothers and sisters-in-law Gene and Joann Epperly, Wayne and Jen Epperly, and Barbara Anthony; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Patricia graduated from Ansonia High School in 1959. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Epperly Leasing. Patricia was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a hospital volunteer for many years in Greenville as well as in Jonesboro, AR. She was a past organist at Holy Family Church in Frenchtown. Patricia enjoyed spending time with family, traveling the US, including several winters in Arizona as well as trips to England, Scotland, Canada and Costa Rica, sewing, crocheting, gardening, playing cards, bowling, water aerobics classes at the YMCA and demonstrating her quirky sense of humor. In her final months, Patricia enjoyed drawing, coloring, and painting, leaving many artistic treasures for her family.
Guests may visit with Patricia's family on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenville with Father Matt Feist officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
Memorials may be given to EverHeart Hospice or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
