Patrick T. Thwaits

Patrick T. Thwaits, 23, of Burlington, Kentucky and formerly of Greenville, OH and Port Charlotte, FL, passed away Monday evening, January 5, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Greenville, OH son of William L. Thwaits and Terry L. Young both of Burlington, KY. Patrick was employed at UPS/Honeywell for the last 3 years. He was member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. He was a Charlotte County Sheriff's Office Explorer, a 2003 graduate of Charlotte High School where he had played football as well as being active with YMCA soccer. He had a true love for people, his work and life. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, William M. Thwaits of Burlington; paternal grandparents Jim and Carol Thwaits of Greenville; fiancee Esther Phalsgraf and her two children, Landon and Sabrina; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville, OH with Father John White celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH on Friday from 5-8 p.m. with prayer services being offered at 4:30 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Patrick T. Thwaits Memorial Fund, c/o Greenville National Bank, Greenville, OH.
