Patty Ann Jackson

Patty Ann Jackson, 69, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. 

She was born on August 30, 1953, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Roscoe and Mabel (Osborn) Derr.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Danial "Joe" Joseph Jackson, whom she married on August 21, 1971, and who passed away on August 21, 2022; her sister, Peg (Dick) George.

Patty is survived by her children, Angel (Shawn) Crumrine of Greenville, Shawn (Staci) Jackson of Greenville, and Dalton (Sarah) Jackson of New Madison; her grandchildren, Mantoreha Crumrine, Jacota Crumrine, Ross Crumrine, Desirea Crumrine, and Trey Jackson; her step grandchildren, Aubrey and Greyson Auxier; and her siblings, Becky (Dave) George in New Madison, Tom (Gina) Derr of Defiance, Ohio, Nancy Camacho of Greenville.

Patty was a 1971 graduate of New Madison High School. Shortly after graduation, she married Joe and became a life-long homemaker. Patty enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting blankets, painting t-shirts and sweatshirts. However, most of all, Patty loved raising her family and spoiling her grandchildren. 

A celebration of Patty's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Tribute Funeral Homes, New Madison Campus, with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. 

Guests may visit with Patty's family on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
