Paul E. Ulrich, 92, passed away Tuesday morning, April 30, 2013 in Greenville, Ohio, and was a resident of Heartland of Greenville for several years
He was born August 11, 1920 in Trotwood, OH, son of the late Robert and Edith (Denlinger) Ulrich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Roeckner) Ulrich in December 2010, and sister, Anne Gilmore.
He had a full life with family, farming, construction, sales at a local farm store, and retired from DeKalb.
His great sense of humor will always be remembered, and he enjoyed music, dancing, boating, woodworking, and roller skating.
He was a very proud veteran of World War II having served in the Army.
He is survived by his son, Kent (Linda) Ulrich; daughter, Marilyn Brumbaugh; son, Barry (Judy) Ulrich; daughter, Jayne (Brian) Connair; and daughter Kim (Dave) Roberts; 13 grandchildren; Jessica, Nicole, Cameron (Amy), and Aaron Ulrich; Lora Jo (Duane) Cook, Greg Brumbaugh, Todd and Bill (Shawna) Ulrich, Mollie (Brian) Watson, Evan (Erica) Connair, Dan (Emilee) Roberts, Leah (Drew) Huffgarden, and Jon Roberts; and 22 great grandchildren.
Services with full military honors by the Greenville Veteran's Honor Guard will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Newcomers Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Contributions may be given to Greenville Veteran's Honor Guards.
