Paul Jones

Paul Jones Jr., 91, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Versailles Health Care in Versailles.

Paul was born September 17, 1926 in North Grove, Indiana to the late Paul Jones, Sr. and Mildred (Drake) Royal. In addition to his parents by his son, Rick Jones; his granddaughter, Deanna Jones, and his grandson, Michael Brooks; and his brother, Gene Jones.

Paul is survived by his wife of 74 years, Betty Lou (Pence) Jones whom he married January 6,1944; a daughter, Kathy (Bruce) Brooks of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Kay Jones of Ansonia; grandchildren, Darrel (Erin) Jones of Ansonia, Jeff (Kimberli) Brooks of Lebanon, Ohio, Dan (Giovanna) Brooks of Hilliard, Ohio; great grandchildren, Amanda Jones, Megan Jones, Austin Brooks and Sawyer Brooks, and Harrison Brooks; his brother, Jack Jones of Waynesville, Ohio; and his brother-in-law, Gene Byrum of Union City, Indiana.

Paul loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and woodworking. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. They meant the world to him.

A Graveside Celebration of Paul's life will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens with Pastor Roger Emerson officiating.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, from 11am to 12pm at Tribute Funeral Homes in Greenville.
