Phyllis E. Sherry

Phyllis (Musselman) Sherry, 79, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 08, 2024, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.

She was born on November 19, 1944, to the late Wilbur and Kathryn (Wills) Musselman.

Phyllis is also predeceased by her loving husband and companion, Robert "Bob" Sherry, of 56 years, whom she married on November 19, 1966, and who passed on May 28, 2023. She is also preceded in death by siblings. 

She is survived by siblings and their families, as well as a few dear friends. 

Phyllis enjoyed bowling, gardening, sitting on her back patio watching the wildlife, country music, and camping. She also had a passion for crafting, including painting, sewing, woodworking, and quilting. Phyllis was kind and generous; many of her crafts were gifted to others. She and her late husband Bob were known to be generous to the community throughout the years. She was a former member of the Greenville VFW and American Legion. Phyllis worked many years as the bookkeeper for her husband's business Bob Sherry Construction. She always made sure to have her hair and makeup done, working in cosmetology for years gave her that appreciation. She also worked at Sheller-Globe and Leis Realty. Phyllis adored her home, she appreciated Bob building it for them and lived there for over 30 years. Those close to Phyllis will miss her and always remember her for her sweet and infectious laugh.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville with Chaplain Suzi Fischer officiating. Interment will follow at Greenville Union Cemetery.
