Ralph E. Hartle

Ralph E. Hartle, 84, of Greenville, OH, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, March 13, 2009 at the Brethren Retirement Community. He was born in Versailles, OH son of the late Arthur and Fannie (Wolf) Hartle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" (Setterbo) Hartle and his brothers Merle, Nelson and Zane Hartle. Ralph was retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation as an engineer. He was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church in Greenville and the Gideon's International. He is survived by his daughters, Jeanne (Lou) Perreira of Greenville, and Judy (Steve) Hart of Lancaster, OH; grandchildren, Matt Perreira; Tim (Crystal) Hart; Jody Perreira; Nic (Shawna) Perreira; Lori (Steve) Wenning, all of Greenville; and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m. with Todd Reish, Chris Barhorst and Joe Soley officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, March 17 from 12:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Gideon's International or the Brethren Home Residence Aid Fund.
