Ralph Junior Silvers

Ralph Junior Silvers, 98, of New Paris, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 13, 1923, in Gratis, Ohio, a son of the late Roy and Mae (Coleman) Silvers.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (Schlosser) Silvers, whom he married on December 14, 1945; his sons, Jim Silvers and Jack Silvers; his granddaughter, Sherry Recues; as well as three sisters and one brother.

Ralph retired from Richmond Baking Company and Kessler's Auction Crew. He enjoyed collecting paper weights and eating breakfast out with his family.

Ralph is survived by his daughters, Joyce (Ray) Vanwinkle, and Jill (Les) Spencer, all of New Paris; his grandchildren, Tina Bane, Jimmy Joe Silvers, Angela Richies, Patty Minner, Becky McIntosh, Jack Silvers, Jr., Sara Vanwinkle, and Tony Spencer; several great and great-great grandchildren; and his special friends, Dave Frech and Dave Kessler.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the his family. Burial will follow in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris.
