Rebecca E. Mceldowney

Rebecca E. McEldowney, 75, of New Weston, OH, passed away Monday morning, February 23, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Mercer County, daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Joseph) Sanders. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. McEldowney; a son, Scott McEldowney; brothers, John Sanders, Melvin Sanders, Keith Sanders, Jr. and Wayne Bonifield; and sisters, Esther Stuckenborg and Margaret Oldiges. A homemaker, Becky was reired from Weaver Brothers in Versailles. She is survived by her children, Duane McEldowney of New Madison, Terry McEldowney of Versailles, Curtis McEldowney, Jr. of New Weston and Kay Perez also of New Weston; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Arlington "Doc" Sanders and Roger Sanders both of Ansonia; sisters, Marcella Bonifield of Salamonia, IN and Ruby Singer of New Weston. Services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, Saturday, February 28 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5-8 p.m.
