Richard Orville Lambert

Richard Orville Lambert, Sr., 68, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

He was born June 20, 1944 in Montgomery County, Ohio, the son of the late Russell and Virginia (Winger) Lambert. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his oldest brother, William Dean Bush; brother-in-law, Richard Webb and two sisters-in-law, Barbara (Forsythe) Lambert and Mary Lou Lambert.

Richard has left behind a daughter and son-in-law John and Brenda (Lambert) Benner II of Lewisburg, OH; a son, Richard O. Lambert, Jr. of Greenville OH; 3 grandchildren, Casey, Kyle and Madeline; Six brothers and sisters, Theodore E. Lambert of Lewisburg OH, Russell A. Lambert of Brookville OH, Judith C. Webb of Greenville OH, Carol (Larry) Stout of Donnalfonville GA, Robert (Patricia) Lambert of Arcanum OH, and Marita (Terry) Hildebrand of West Milton OH, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also survived by his previous wife Shirley A Lambert GreenvilleOH, who remained a close and dear friend.


Graveside committal services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Mote Cemetery in Pitsburg, OH.
The family request that memorials contributions be made to help with funeral expenses.
