Richard P. Logan, 59, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on June 26, 2023, at Wayne Hospital in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born on June 12, 1964, to the late James "Jack" Logan; and his mother, Imogene (Woodall) Logan.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his sister Obgean Logan.
Richard is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy (Harp) Logan; his daughter, Jessica (Scott) Young of Ansonia; and his son, Richard Logan, Jr. of Ansonia; his siblings, Barry (Kathleen) Logan of Greenville, Steve (Naomi) Logan, John (Laura) Logan, all of Corbin, Kentucky, and Brenda (Larry Couch) Logan of Lexington, Kentucky; and his "adopted brother", Fred Logan of Rockhold, Kentucky. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Yukahn Riffell, of Piqua, Ohio, Faith Young, and Corbin Young, of Ansonia; and his numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Richard was a diesel mechanic for Rumpke for 14 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cookouts with his family. Richard was a master tinkerer and gunsmith. If he could take it apart, he could fix it and put it back together. His bond with his beloved dog Ruby was strong, often sharing snacks and a little something from every meal with her. He treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.
A funeral service for Richard will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 7:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
His family will be receiving guests on Saturday, from 4:00 PM until the time of his service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
