Richard Roy Rentz

Richard Roy Rentz, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at The Brethren Retirement Community. He was born on July 15, 1926, in Greenville, Ohio to the Carl Glander and Helen E. (Hickman) Rentz..

Richard was a 1944 graduate of Greenville High School. He also was a 1948 graduate from the Miami Ohio University. Earlier in his life, Richard had also attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Greenville. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir for more than 20 years. In the middle of his life, Richard had lived in Englewood, Illinois. Vocal music and performing organ music were his pleasures in life.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers, John H. Rentz and Robert C. Rentz.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 1:30 PM at the Greenville Union Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor John Person officiating.
