Richard Worthington

Richard Worthington, age 89, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Troy Rehabilitation and Care Center in Troy, Ohio.

Richard was born on July 18, 1933, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Joe and Ethel (Davis) Worthington.

Richard graduated high school in 1952 from Ansonia High School. After high school, he served his county honorably in the United States Army. After his service, Richard attended Barber School in Toledo, Ohio. Richard worked as a Barber for many years, opening Rich's Barber and Style Shop in 1970 in the Big N Plaza in Greenville. He also was a realtor working with Ken White and other various agencies in the area. He was an avid flyer with his private, commercial and instructor's license. One of his favorite destinations was Oshkosh, Wisconsin at the EAA Convention. Another of his hobbies was photography as enjoyed taking aerial and landscape photos.

Richard is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ella (Seiber) Worthington; his daughter, Dana Worthington and his son, Rick Worthington, both of Greenville, Ohio; and his sister, Ruby Sabin of Columbus, Ohio.

Per Richard's request, there are no services planned at this time.
