Robert D. "Bob"

Robert D. "Bob" Michael, 77, of New Weston, passed away Thursday morning, December 18, 2008. He was born in Darke County, son of the late Delmar and Fern (Shook) Michael. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, George W. Thornhill and Jerry Stucke; one sister, a half sister and two half brothers. Bob was retired from Walls Brother's Asphalt and Bruns Construction. He was a life time member of the Moose Lodge #417, Eagles Lodge #3025, and the Sons of the American Legion, Coldwater, OH. He is survived by his , Imogene (Miller) Michael, whom he married on September 5, 1950; four daughters and a son, Karen Stucke, Sharon (Tim) Miller, Debra (John) Kaiser, Randy (Sue) Michael, and Sandra (Jim) Cox; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren, a sister, Doris Hemmelgarn of Dayton and a brother, Gene Michael of Union City, OH. Private services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Sam Hoeflich officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday, December 21 from 2-5 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
