Robert H. Floeck, Jr., 79, of Greenville, passed away at his residence on July 12, 2010. Robert was born on October 18, 1930 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Robert H. and Beatrice C. (Baker) Floeck.
Robert worked in construction throughout his life, working 10 years in Alaska on the Alaskan Pipeline. He is also a retired Teamster. Robert served his country honorably and is a four year veteran in the United States Air Force serving as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean Conflict. Robert is a member of the Niles Richards American Legion Post #708 in Hollansburg. In his younger years, Robert enjoyed racing automobiles.
Robert is survived by a sister, Evelyn Fowble of Greenville; good friend, Dick Helman of Greenville; and a special niece, Joanne and husband, Ken Simmons of Greenville; two nieces, Chelsea and Nikki Simmons.
A graveside service with be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Abbottsville Cemetery with a Veteran’s tribute by the Darke County Honor Guard.
