Roger E. Stewart

Roger E. Stewart, 78, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

He was born on August 17, 1944, in Greenville to Lorene Jane (Hayes) Stewart and the late Ira William Stewart.

In addition to his father, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeffry Stewart and Walter Stewart.

In addition to his mother, Roger is survived by his son, Randy Stewart of Sidney; his brother, Otis Stewart of Versailles; his significant other, Faye Wayne of Bradford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. When he returned home, Roger began his 30-year career as a over-the-road truck driver. Roger loved spending time with Faye and running around. He was also known to be a great musician.

Private funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in the Old Teegarden Cemetery near Ansonia.
