Ronald D. Kolsky

Ronald D. Kolsky, 69, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at his home.

He was born on January 4, 1955, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Glenn and Deloris (Long) Kolsky. 

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle "Mickie" (Gelder) Kolsky; his brother, Ken Kolsky; and his sisters-in-law, Kimberly Kolsky and Nancy Kolsky. 

Ron is survived by his children, Rachel Mroz of Wilmington, North Carolina, Stacy (Justin) Smith of Sidney, Ohio, Shane (Stephanie) Sloan of Albany, Ohio, and Jody Cline of Greenville; his 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his siblings, Larry (Sandra) Kolsky of Springfield, Missouri, Rob Kolsky of Troy, Ohio, and Alan Kolsky of Troy, Ohio; his special friend, Carla Robbins of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Ron was a 1973 graduate of Jackson Center High School. He worked for Rumpke in Greenville until he retired in 2017. In his free time, Ron enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his family and friends. 

A celebration of Ron's life will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Greenville Worship Center, 630 Pine Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331, with Pastor Rick Tennison officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be given to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N County Road 25A Troy, OH 45373.
