Ronda E. Ward

Ronda E. Ward, 57, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio.

She was born on December 28, 1963, in Greenville, to the late Doyle and Bernadine (Lachat) McConnell of Greenville.

In addition to her parents, Ronda was preceded in death by her brother, Tom McConnell.

Ronda is survived by her husband of 29 years, Randy Ward, whom she married on February 1, 1992; her daughter, Jessica (Eric Rider) Ward of Gettysburg, Ohio; her son, Randy (Mindy) Ward, Jr. of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Carlie Hood of Gettysburg and Sydney, Austin and Zachary Ward of Ansonia; her great grandchildren, Watson and Rowland Ward.

Ronda was 1982 graduate of Greenville High School. She worked off and on at The Whistle Stop, in Ansonia, for over 20 years. She was quite the cook, as many in the Darke County could attest to. She could cook just about anything with her fried potatoes being one of the favorites of her family.

Per the family's wishes, there will be no service.
