Sandra Rae Booher, 70, of Troy, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 19, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, and in the care of Hospice, in her home. With the exception of the past four months, Sandy was a lifelong resident of the Pitsburg, Ohio area.
Sandy was born on June 13, 1951, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Evelyn (Brehm) Sease.
She is survived by her childhood sweetheart, best friend, and husband of 51 years, Tim Booher; her children, Chad (Amy) Booher, and Lani Sapp; her grandchildren, Morgan (Jeremy) Bridenbaugh, Luke Booher, Carter Sapp, and Libby Sapp; her brother, Ben (Jill) Sease; her sister, Sue (John) Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandy was a homemaker until serving as cafeteria manager for several years at Franklin-Monroe School. Later she became a bookkeeper at R.J. Warner Insurance for her husband. She was a member of Ithaca United Methodist Church, serving in several capacities, including video operator. She also volunteered at Grace Resurrection Church and soup kitchen. Sandy's life revolved around her family and friends. She was a loving and caring person who never complained regardless of how she was feeling.
A celebration of Sandy's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Castine Church with the members of Sandy's small share group, Souled Out, officiating.
Sandy's family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at Mote Cemetery.
