Sarah A. Bevins

Sarah A. Bevins, 11, of Hollansburg, passed away late Tuesday morning, December 21, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She was born November 8, 1999 in Richmond, IN, daughter of Tim M. and Pamela F. (Grimes) Bevins of Hollansburg. Sarah was a fifth grade honor student at Tri-Village Elementary School in New Madison and was a member of the Beech Grove Church of the Brethren. Sarah had a great love of horses and was active in Girl Scout Troop #31699, Canine Capers 4-H Club, Awanas, cheerleading, basketball, band, softball, TAG, and Kid’s For Christ at the Beech Grove Church. In addition to her parents, Sarah is survived by her brothers and sisters, Nicole (Bryan) VanDervort of New Paris, Tiffany (Hank) O’Sheal of Havre De Grace, MD, Mark Bevins, Alex Bevins and Sam Bevins all of Hollansburg; nieces, Avery and Sydney VanDervort; grandmothers, Beverley Bevins and Norma Prater both of Hollansburg; great-grandmother, Doris Thompson of Greenville; very special friends, Keith, Susan, Kesla, and Holden Klingler; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Monday, December 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the Beech Grove Church of the Brethren, 3420 Harrison Road, Hollansburg, with Pastor Randy Devor officiating. Burial will follow in the Hollansburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, Sunday from 2-7 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Beech Grove Church of the Brethren.
