Scott Allen Borger

Scott A. Borger, 59, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

He was born on June 9, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents, Timothy and Beverly (Urich) Borger of Greenville, Ohio.

Scott was preceded in death by his daughter, Karley J. Borger.

In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his fiance, Dona Rice of Arcanum; his children, Valan (Seth) Houlton of Loveland, Ohio, Vance (Erin) Borger of Yellow Springs, Ohio, Ryan (Payshence Lane) Borger of Lynn, Indiana, Macie Gillum and Hannah Gillum both of Trotwood, Ohio, and Abbey Gillum of Kettering, Ohio; his grandchildren, Abbie, Grant, Nora, Rachael, Luke, Jacob, Ellie, Hope, Zander, Paxton, Linkin, Bentley, Carter, Elias, Aero, and August; and his sister, Kym (Roger) Cost of Greenville.

Scott was a 1982 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. He worked for Henny Penny in Eaton for 25 years. Scott was a loving family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Scott enjoyed being outdoors and enjoying all nature had to offer. He also liked cooking, hiking, sitting around a campfire, and listening to music.

A celebration of Scott's life will take place at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

Guests may visit with Scott's family on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM.
