Sharon Lanee Filby

Sharon Lanee Filby, 58, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

She was born on August 3, 1964, in McDowell County, North Carolina, to the late Bruce and Helen (Pitman) Stone.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Skeeter Stone; and her sister, Susan McSwain.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Allen Filby, whom she married on May 17, 2009.

Sharon was a simple person who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her five dogs. She loved her family and friends and always looked forward to spending time with them.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at a later date.
