Shirley Ann Morrow, 85, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Brethern Retirement Community in Greenville.
She was born on November 7, 1938, in Greenville to the late Ralph and Hazel (Fourman) Beasley.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Horace B. Morrow, whom she married on August 9, 1958, and who passed away on March 10, 1995.
Shirley is survived by her children, Deb Shiverdecker of Greenville, Lisa Thomas of Cincinnati, Jeff Morrow of Greenville, and Tony Morrow of Greenville; her grandchildren, Kristen (Joe) Sharp, Nikki (Dave) Armstrong, Jamie (Nick) Mabry, Dustin (Chelsey) Shiverdecker, Heather Thomas, Heidi (Cameron Schultz) Thomas, Kyle Morrow, Tyler (Nicole) Morrow, Hannah Morrow, and Noah Morrow; her great grandchildren, Phillip, Ella, Vivian, Decker, Fisher, Nell, Willis, Daisey, Jace, DJ, River, Josie, and Lucy; and her sister, Diane (Jerry) Billenstein of Rossburg.
Shirley graduated from Greenville High School. She worked for the Ohio Bureau of Unemployment for over 30 years until she retired. While working for the state, Shirley was the Union representative for several years. She also worked for a local attorney for many years in Greenville. Shirley was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rosary Alter Society, Greenville BPW, and was a past girl scout leader. In her free time, Shirley enjoyed crafting, going shopping and thrifting at garage sales. But most of all, Shirley loved her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Guests may visit on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. A rosary and vigil prayers will be said at 3:45 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
