Stephen Charles Long

Stephen Charles Long, age 74, of Piqua, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at his home.

Steve was born on February 8, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charles and Dorothy (Hulme) Long

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Brayden Dorsten.

Steve is survived by his children, Stephen Charles (percio Castro) Long II of Sparta, Georgia, John (Tabitha) Long of Piqua and Mary Catherine "Katie" (Donny Pritchett) Long of Piqua; grandchildren, Stephen C. Long III, Christina Long, Sierra Long, Kaydence Dorsten and Rylan Dorsten; and 3 great grandchildren

Steve was a 1965 graduate of Piqua Central High School. While in high school, Steve worked at Long's Market in Piqua. In later years, he worked in printing for Miami Printing, Peter's Printing and Hammer Graphics. He was also a service technician for Regal Cinemas and Chakeres Theatres. Steve enjoyed music and was integral in starting several local radio stations.
