Steven E. Swank

Steven Swank, 65, of Greenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Heartland of Greenville.

He was born May 12, 1949 in Greenville, son of Wanda (Cool) Swank and the late Donald Swank . In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Pauline (Foureman) Swank, William Saylor and Cora (Besecker) Cool.

Steven had worked at Fram for 15 years, a graduate of Mississinawa High School and had went to Wright State for 2 1/2 years. He had served in the U S Air Force for 14 years.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda (Cool) Swank; brothers and sister, Niles (Rebecca) Swank of Greenville, Bruce (Julie) Swank of Troy, Stephanie Sherry of Greenville; nieces, Andrea (Joe) Raterman of Versailles, Jacqueline Sherry of Columbus, Nicole Sherry of Greenville, Katie Swank of Troy, Lauren Swank of Troy; and nephews, Travis (Katie) Swank of Versailles and Colton Sherry of Greenville.

Services with full military honors by the Greenville Honor Guard will be held, Saturday, January 24 at 1 PM at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in the Mote Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM till 1 PM. The family request that memorial donations be given to the Center of Neurological Development P O Box 117 Burkettsville, Ohio 45310.
