Steven Neil Grill

Steven Neil Grill, age 71 of Greenville, passed away on November 17, 2024 at Everheart Hospice, Greenville. 

He was born on March 9, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert Grill and Mary Flatter. 

Steven is preceded in death by his dad and step mom, Bob and Shirley Grill; mom and step dad, Mary and Herman Flatter; son, Stevie Grill; step brother; Steve Crawford; and step sister, Maggie Crawford. 

Those left to cherish Steven's memory include his daughter and son in law, Mary and Mark Nisonger; grandsons, Dustin Sonner, Brent Hawes, Tyler Hawes and girlfriend, Becca Relthford, Parker Grill, and Trenton Grill; great grandchildren, Aydrian Sonner, Reign Weimer, Aria Hawes, Dexter Hawes, Adelina Sogura, Paislee Grill, and Owen Grill; brother, Larry Grill; sister, Carol Orahood; step brother, Bart Crawford; and many nieces and nephews. 

Steven retired from the Brethren Retirement Community, where he worked for over 30 years, working in the laundry service. He belonged to the Greenville Moose Lodge 329. Steven enjoyed attending swap meets, auctions, and car shows, where he would show some of his cars. He also loved collecting dicast cars and working on old cars, including his 1936 Dodge. 

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. 

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday following the visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fee officiating. Interment will follow at Greenville Union Cemetery.
