Susan E. Peden

Susan E. Peden, age 62 of New Madison, formerly of Hollansburg, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Maple Gardens Nursing Home in Eaton.

She was born on July 27, 1961, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Pete and Margaret (Alexander) Wolfal. 

In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her daughter, Alexis Peden. 

She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Stansberry of New Madison; her four grandchildren, Allie, Hayli, Mason, and Taylor; her sister, Debra (Kim) Baker of Hollansburg; and her step-sister, Sandy (Bobby) Campbell of Hagerstown, Indiana

Susan was a waitress and cook for over 40 years at Sam's in Glen Karn and Red & Ruth's in Palestine. In her free time, she enjoyed camping and sitting around a campfire, and gardening. She also loved animals, especially her pets. Susan enjoyed attending the Harrison Street Baptist Church with her granddaughter, Taylor. 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hollansburg Cemetery, Hollansburg, Ohio, with Pastor Kyle Herrmann officiating.
